DFRobot waterproof capacitive soil moisture sensor

With this waterproof analog soil moisture sensor from DFRobot, you can measure the moisture of plants and detect when the plant needs to be watered. The sensor has an integrated amplifier. Therefore, it can be directly connected to an analog input from an Arduino. The measuring probe is inserted into the soil and measures the capacitance of the earth, which changes with the moisture.
